This Privacy Policy explains how Arbor & Maine (“Arbor & Maine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with this website and our consultations. We have written it in plain English and kept it as short as we can.
Arbor & Maine is a non-clinical behavioral concierge and care-management service based in Texas, serving Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, and surrounding communities. We are not a medical or treatment provider, and we do not provide medical, psychiatric, or clinical care.
Information we collect
When you book a consultation
Consultations are booked through a Google Calendar appointment schedule embedded on this site. When you book, Google collects your name, your email address, and any other information you enter in the booking form. Google provides that booking information to us so we can confirm and hold your appointment. Consultations take place over Google Meet. Google’s own privacy policy applies to information you provide through Google Calendar and Google Meet.
When you speak with us
We also collect any information you choose to share with us during a consultation or in later conversations with our team.
Technical information
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver and secure the site, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address. The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to retrieve them.
What we do not collect
This website is a simple, static site. We do not set our own cookies, we do not use analytics, and the site has no forms of our own.
Please do not share health information through the website
We ask that you not include medical or health details when booking a consultation or anywhere else on this website. A member of our team will follow up with you confidentially.
How we use information
We use the information described above only to:
- respond to you and schedule consultations;
- provide our services, if you choose to engage us; and
- operate, deliver, and secure this website.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with the service providers that help us run this website and our scheduling, currently Google (Calendar, Meet, and Fonts) and Cloudflare (hosting); and
- when we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy.
How we protect information
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information under applicable law. We extend the following rights to all visitors, wherever they live:
- Access and copy: to ask what personal information we hold about you and to receive a copy of it;
- Correction: to ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- Deletion: to ask us to delete your personal information;
- Opt out: to opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, and profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling; and
- Appeal: to appeal if we decline your request. To appeal, reply to our decision and tell us why you disagree.
How to make a request. Email info@arborandmaine.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming details we already hold about you. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization, and ask you to confirm your identity directly.
Timing. We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by up to 45 more days, and we will tell you within the first 45 days.
No discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
Information held by Google. Booking information you submit through the embedded Google Calendar schedule is also held by Google. You can manage it through your Google account and Google’s privacy tools, in addition to contacting us.
Children
This website is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information through it from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal information through this website, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Third-party links and services
This website includes services operated by others, such as the embedded Google Calendar appointment schedule, and may link to other websites. Those services and websites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not this one, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
